Houellebecq’s 2005 novel THE POSSIBITY OF AN
ISLAND is exhibited at the MOCA at Goldman Warehouse in various art
forms from paintings, videos, lights and sculptures. uVu got a first hand look at the exhibition, which poses
existential questions in the face of an elusive future and explores the poetic
and philosophical sides of science fiction.
Ruba Katrib, MOCA assistant curator, gives a description of "The Possibility of an Island" on view at MOCA at Goldman Warehouse. The exhibition is inspired by the novel of the same title by Michel Houellebecq.
