Community Events this Week

Mother WPBT/Channel 2 is proud to be part of two free events this week, first on Friday, September 12th at 7pm at the Wolfsonian-FIU, join us for a special screening of Documenting the Face of America, a documentary exploration of the legendary photographers who worked under the leadership of Roy Stryker and the Farm Service Administration in the 1930's. William Maguire, professor of art and art history at FIU will speak before the screening about the film and the current photography exhibition on display at the museum. Part of the Cinema 2 at the Wolf series, which is free to the general public.  For information on a free tour of the exhibition that evening, call the museum at 305-535-2644.

Kidvision/Channel 2 is a proud sponsor of A Day For Children Presented By Nova Southeastern University On Sunday, September 14th from 11:00 am To 5:00 pm At The NSU Library.  This free event features health screenins for hearing, vision, speech, dental and more.
