On this week’s program, guest Norman Braman holds up a check he says demonstrates the “shell game” used between the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County to build the Florida Marlins stadium. To view the check and its accompanying letter in PDF format, click here and here.
During his interview, Braman also references an article in the Miami Herald about bringing casino gaming to downtown Miami and Miami Beach. To read the article, click here.
Mr. Braman is wrong about the stadium issue. A new stadium will provide jobs and provide wholesome family entertainment in the greater Dade and Broward county area. The Marlins are two time world champions. Nationally televised games will spur tourism to Miami. It is a win win situation. Maybe Mr. Braman has an axe to grind, I don't know but some thing about his position just doesn't sound right to me.

Mr. Brahman is correct about the stadium scam-it's just a way to siphon tax dollars.
It was obvious years ago at the inception of the Marlins that they were doomed, for the simple fact that no one in their right mind is going to want to sit in 90+ degree heat and humdity and watch baseball or anything else.
If the Marlins think it's such a good idea; LET THEM PAY FOR IT..........
Kudos for Mr. Brahman!
